    • In order to reach Mars, it takes over 34 million miles (~9 months of travel), so the United Arab Emirates is currently attempting to figure out a way to expedite this process

    • The colony will be fully self-sustaining and have its own methodologies for growing and cultivating food

    • Homes may be built with soil from Mars using 3-D printing
